Day 1

Hello and welcome to another video for the British Council's LearnEnglish Teens website and their YouTube channel. My name's Molly and this weekend I'm coming to Manchester to visit a friend, so I thought it would be fun to take you along with me and show you what I get up to.

We went to a café for lunch called Common, in the Northern Quarter, which was really nice. And now we've come over to Castlefield, which is another part of Manchester, and we're going to go to, er, Castlefield Gallery, which should be fun.

Day 2

Hey, guys. So, it's the next morning now. I just had brunch with my friends, which was really nice. It's a lovely sunny day here in Manchester and we were even able to eat outside, which was really nice for November in England! And now we're on the way to visit the People's History Museum in central Manchester, so I will update you later.

So I'm back home and back from Manchester now, but I just wanted to update you about the rest of my trip. So, we went to the People's History Museum – erm, it was really interesting – and then we spent the rest of our time wandering around the Christmas market. Er, there was a lot of delicious food and drink and the atmosphere was really Christmassy and festive. I had a really fun time in Manchester and I loved taking you along with me – I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching, and I look forward to seeing you in my next video. Bye!

The only thing I knew about Manchester was that there are two strong football teams called Manchester City and Manchester United. XD If I went to Manchester, I'd like to visit all of the listed in the video places.

Actually I knew nothing about Manchester before, just that this city is in UK. But after this video I think I know Manchester better and I hope, one day I'll have a chance to visit that big wonderfull city. I would like to visit so many different places for my weekend, that it's even not enough a whole day to list all of those places))
