Do you think it’s a good idea to study at a foreign university? Why or why not? What advantages are there to living in another country for a year?

Actually, my mother studied at the foreign university. My mom studied abroad in Italy, for the classical music. She went there since she was 19 years old, and she was there for about 14 years. So, she became the best soprano in the world, and I also want to study abroad in USA. I want to be a musical singer, and I think studying for ourselve's dream job in the country where is famous for that, such as Italy for classical music, and USA for musicals, is very good for us. If you want to be a soccer player, you can study and pracrice in Brazil. Well, of course it's challenging, but it will help you to do great in the work you'd studied. I want to be the greatest musical star in the world, so I've been planning to go to Broadway and practice hard. If I debut in there, and I have no doubt about I will be famous all over the world. And there are so many benefits about it:

1. You can learn foreign languages naturally.
2. You can learn the history of the subject, or the other ideas.
3. You can learn the other country's own cultures.
4. Also you can make the foreign friends, too!

but there are several disadvantages, too.

1. You can be distracted.
2. You must do all the things in the FOREIGN country.
3. No one can help you.
4. And in my mother's opinion, she said homesickness is the most hard thing you should bear in the other country.
(But still, I want to study and spend my time in USA!)

Hi mayma. It's great that you are interested in improving your email writing skills. If you go to the Worksheets and downloads section, you'll find a writing practice worksheet there. Do you have a printer? You can print the worksheet and try writing the email.

But first, make sure you read the example on the page, and the tips (which point out some important and useful features of it). Then try the exercises to practise some language before you start writing.

This email is C1 level (the most difficult). If it's too difficult for you, you can try email writing practice at other levels.

Good luck :)
