Ben: You always get good marks at school. You're lucky! I study but I don't always get good marks.

Katy: I'm not lucky! I know how to study. I always do three things. Do you want to know them?

Ben: Yeah, please!

Katy: OK, number one. Always study in a quiet place.

Ben: I usually study in my bedroom. It's very quiet.

Katy: Number two. Have a clear desk!

Ben: Right. A clear desk. My desk isn't clear. There are lots of papers and books and pens on it.

Katy: Well, that isn't very good!

Ben: What's tip number three?

Katy: Have lots of breaks. I always study for thirty minutes. Then I have a break for five minutes. I move my arms and legs and drink some water. Then I study again for thirty minutes.

Ben: I never have a break. I sometimes study for two or three hours.

Katy: That isn't a good idea! It's important to get up and move your body.

Ben: OK. Thanks. Next time I think I can get good marks!

I'm not really good at studying, but these are my study tips: 1. Do the tasks again, which you did in school. 2. Have a glass of water on your desk and drink sometimes. 3. Take breaks and go into the garden. 4. Do not look at your phone while studying and take your phone in another room. 5. Have a clear desk for studying. 6. Find a quite place to learn, where aren't any annoying siblings.

Have you got a study tip? I also have some useful study tips for me, such as: - I always organize my study space in a quiet room with all the necessary items so as not to interrupt the learning process. - I turn off my phone notifications or blocking Facebook (temporarily) on my computer so I can concentrate on the homework tasks at hand. - I use flow charts and diagrams to write down everything I already know about a topic - and then highlight where the gaps lie. Next, I study my material to accomplish the topic. - I help my classmates to do their homework by explaining my answers to them. This tip also helps me memorize knowledge for longer. - I usually organize study groups with friends before each of the exams. We discuss all contents related to the exam and practice on old ones. - I always study for 1 hour. Then I have a break for five minutes. I like both eating some snacks and listening to my favorite song. - Finally, remember that a little study every day is much better than a lot of studying all at once. So, I just take 2 hours for my self-study each day.

I use to get good marks so i am used to this kind of questions , i dont follow specific tips but i think it is necessary to study in a quiet and clean place far from noise it really help us to concentrate and not bother our selves ; try to understand the lesson no matter how hard it is then move to exercice because understanding the theories is the main important part while studying ; and manage your time in a smart way so that you can learn a lot of things better and faster , that is the common tips of studying and good luck for all !

Submitted by Thu on Mon, 06/24/2019 - 05:58

I have some little tips but I don't think study in a quiet place is a good idea. I was doing that and then, I slept. It makes your eyes close, close and close. And my tips are written each word on board to some symbols. Or you emphasize the word when you read it, don't make your own lesson to be boring. In general, be a good student and make your own good marks, FIGHTING!
