The secret life of a Kindle reader

For those of you who do not know what a Kindle is, it is a product from Amazon which allows you to download books and read them anywhere, at home, at work, on a journey, without having to carry around lots of heavy hardbacks. It is also really useful when you go on holiday if, like me, you read a lot and quickly.
I bought my Kindle two years ago after seeing my mum and my sister with one. Before, I didn't want one, as I love to read books, and I love the satisfaction that comes from reading a book from cover to cover. However, after using my sister’s one day I fell in love with it. It is so easy to download any book you can imagine from the website – one minute you see the book on your computer, the next it is in your hands. And you can read such a wide range of texts – from classic books such as Pride and Prejudice and works by Shakespeare, to modern, comedy books or autobiographies. I even have recipe books on mine.
Another thing I love about the Kindle is the privacy. You can read absolutely anything on there and no one will know! For example, if you wanted to read a book which might be advertised as a book for men, or even a children’s book, you could secretly read it and everyone will believe you are reading a deeply intellectual novel! You can even download the latest editions of newspapers and magazines, so you can catch up on your favourite bands, celebrities or current affairs.
Reading a Kindle gives you a chance to escape the real world. Yes, you can also do this with normal books, but the secrecy and excitement of downloading a new book onto your device adds to the magic.
This doesn't mean that I have given up completely on reading physical books – I still love going into old bookshops and finding a well-known novel for £1, or borrowing old cricket books from my grandfather’s library. There is a worry that with all this new technology there will no longer be a place for actual books, which would be a crying shame.
So, I definitely recommend getting yourselves a Kindle, but please, don’t forget about real books too!

I don't have a Kindle and I'm not sure if i'd like to buy one. When I read books on technological devices I tend to get more distracted. I still like printed books.
No, I don't but neither would I like one because the smell and the touch of the books actually feel like we are exploring beautiful spirits that reside in them So paperback remains my favourite way of reading books.
I don't have one. Maybe, just maybe I'll get one for myself soon enough.

When I bought my new laptop I had kindle already. I tried to read book from it, but I didn't liked it. I prefer normal books. Reading many times is not only for fun for me, but it's break from computer or TV.

No, I don't have any kindle. I need one.
Earlier i hadn't a Kindle, but i bought it, when "Oblomov" by Goncharov became necessary to me promptly.
it's a really good thing for people who really keen on reading. One day can happen, that you already haven't a place for you new books and kindle become a not bad decision. But i can't refuse myself in pleasure to buy a real books)
I had a kindle nd had used it for 2 years.. Kindle is a completely useful device to reading a milion books every where, every time ( condition: Enough light )..When u travel, it's a smallest bags to bring all of ur books with only a hand..It's impossible in physical books because u may have ur books carried by a car if ur a reader ( who loves reading books, does not alive without books )..Investing one time for ur device and u can reads all of books u want without expending because cracked ebook is free nd very easy to download on the Internet, long life battery, u can read books all of 2 days without charging. Im sure that u'll be out of energy before ur kindle, it's better than reading books on tablet. And the best point in this device is e-ink screen with no harm for ur eyes..
By the way, Kindle doesnt not give u satisfaction when u read a real book from cover to cover..U dont have chance to smell taste of new paper in ur new book..There is no difference between milion books in paper quality, type of words, weight because it's always the same on e-ink screen. so that u maybe easy to get bored with reading many books.
With my love for reading books nd experience in using Kindle, i think Kindle ( especially Kindle Touch ) is a good device to try. Hope u'll enjoy it.
Yeah i think to go through it
I don't have a kindle. I haven't heard for it till today. I'm so uninformed:). Still, I wouldn't like to have one. I prefer reading books from libraries, not online, because it's not the same. I like that feeling of turning pages, the cover page etc. I don't like downloading from Internet, it's so boring. I like reading, it's one of my biggest passions, but in my opinion, kindle can never replace real books.

I like real books: If you know what I mean by smelling a new book coming staight out of the printing house.
